Following the Minutewomen's stellar performance at the CCSU Mini-Meet UMass newcomer Christine Davis was recognized as the Atlantic 10 Conference Performer of the Week. Davis paced UMass for the first time in her career in the team's first place performance as they tied Providence with 78 points in a race including 16 teams. Providence is ranked as the best team in the country however they did not rest all of their best runners.
