Duquesne's women's cross country team wrapped up the 2012 season by placing sixth at the ECAC Championship Saturday afternoon. Amber Valimont led the Dukes by placing fourth in the 101-runner field with a time of 18:01.5 on the 5k course.

Duquesne's women's cross country team captured ninth place of 31 teams at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Friday afternoon at Penn State. Amber Valimont finished 23rd of 215 runners.

The Duquesne women's cross country team took 14th place out of 40 schools at the Paul Short Invitational Friday morning. Amber Valimont finished 23rd in the field of 360 runners with a time of 20:59.
Duquesne's women's cross country team is slated sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the Sept. 24 USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Regional Cross Country Rankings. It is the highest the program has been ranked in school history.
Duquesne University cross country runners Jim Spisak, Amber Valimont, Josef DiPietrantonio and Hannah Scipio received Atlantic 10 weekly awards for the week ending Sept. 16.
